About me

Yorkshire

I was lucky enough to be born and raised in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. An idyllic, picturesque town nestled in the Holme valley and surrounded by natural beauty. The area is famous for BBC’s ‘Last of the Summer Wine’ and I can assure you that rolling down hills in bathtubs on wheels was indeed a local sport!

New Zealand

In 2020 me and my partner Sarah decided to take a huge life changing decision and moved to the other side of the world to seek adventure, experience and to fulfill our lifelong dreams of living abroad. The move has been nothing but a dream, living a 2 minute walk to the beach, owning a camper van and enjoying 4 day working weeks, we like to travel around the country in our spare time, exploring what must be one of the most naturally stunning places on the planet.

Photography

I have always been interested in photography, yet for the past 5 years I have really started to enjoy the whole process of photographing, editing and more recently the joy of printing my photos.

For me there is nothing better for photography than hiking, preferably up a mountain. I love taking photos of the scenery, having pit stop and a pie at the top, then enjoying a decent pint of ale in the pub!
